Installation

Installing Thrive Automator on your WordPress website is easy. Just choose the method that’s easiest for you…

A) The easy, recommended method

Install Thrive Automator directly from the ‘Plugins > Add New’ section of your WordPress dashboard.

B) The more technical method

Download Thrive Automator from this page, and upload it to WordPress manually.

C) The Thrive Suite member method

If you’re a Thrive Suite member, you can simply activate Thrive Automator directly from your Thrive Dashboard. No additional steps needed.

ACTIVATING THRIVE AUTOMATOR

Once you have installed Thrive Automator, don’t forget to activate the plugin too. All WordPress plugins need to be both installed and activated to work correctly.

You will now see a new Thrive Automator menu item in your WordPress dashboard.

Clicking this new menu item will open a welcome screen.

THE THRIVE AUTOMATOR WELCOME SCREEN

At this point, you’ll be prompted to install a lightweight plugin called Thrive Product Manager, and connect it with a FREE Thrive Themes account. This allows Thrive Automator to connect with all your favorite apps and services, including WooCommerce and 20+ email marketing services.

All of this is totally free and only takes around a minute.

(You can skip this step, but Thrive Automator will be limited to just the basic WordPress actions and installed 3rd party plugins integrations.)

Does Thrive Automator need Thrive Suite to function?
Not at all.

Thrive Automator works fully without the other conversion-focused tools included inside Thrive Suite.

Although Thrive Automator is available for FREE here, it does become a whole lot more powerful if and when you’re ready to join it with the Thrive Suite toolkit.

I love this software. Thrive Automator developers, if you’re listening…Please, please, please add the functionality so that Automator can update DATE type fields in ActiveCampaign. Currently, it can only update name, email, and text fields in ActiveCampaign. This is crucial for anyone running events or courses that begin on a specific date where the client can invite a friend or spouse along.

I’ve been using the entire Thrive Suite for years, and Automator for about a year. I use it to integrate between my website and ActiveCampaign. I create a different experience between people and my website depending on whether they are signed in to it, are members, signed out, in the middle of a campaign, etc. It’s perfect for segmenting my contact database. The thing that’s great about it is that you can use webhooks. Another great thing is that it’s just one tool from their full suite, so they have plenty of revenue to keep this plugin current. In fact, it’s updated very frequently. Sometimes weekly, sometimes daily. I’ve seen updates PRIOR to wordpress being updated.
