Installation

1. Ensure you have latest version of WP e-Commerce or WooCommerce plugin installed
2. Unzip and upload contents of the plugin to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
4. Click on ‘Smart Reporter’ option within WordPress admin sidebar menu

Want more detailed reports?

If you want more in-depth reports and advanced analytics, take a look at Putler. It has most of the features provided by Smart Reporter plus a lot more in-depth reporting on products, sales, transactions, customers and website visitors.

I want to look at more data (more than a month)?

Unfortunately, Smart Reporter is only limited to 1 month’s data. But if you want to look at more data, you can give Putler a try. It can provide you data to as long as 7 years and beyond.

Has trouble counting new customers and refunds

Its a nice tool, but it seems double counts refunds in the total, and new customers is typically off by a factor of 5 or 10. Certainly not the sort of accuracy that would make me consider upgrading beyond the free version.

Syncing to remote host

This plugins needs to sync MY data to a remote service. This is not clearly stated in the description. I am NOT giving away my data to other.
