Installation

To use the plugin you need to have a Revolut Business account and an active Merchant Account.

If you don’t have a Revolut Business account:

• Sign up for a Business account and when asked the reason for opening the account make sure to select “Receive payments from customers” as one of the reasons
• Provide a description for your business and indicate a category that most closely defines your activities
• Provide the domain of your WooCommerce website when asked about website of your business

If you already have a Revolut Business account but your Merchant Account is not active:

• Go to the Home section in the Revolut Business web portal and select the Merchant tab
• Click Get started and follow the steps to fill in the information of your business
• When prompted, provide the domain of your WooCommerce website

The plugin is not working properly. The support team is lazy and does nothing to resolve.

Don’t use wit WC Subscriptions, otherwise okay

Card payments and Revolut Pay are both functioning effectively. If you use this plugin with WooCommerce Subscriptions, you’ll encounter an issue that the support team claims is intended behaviour. When a customer pays an outstanding renewal order with a different payment method manually, the plugin creates a new, unrelated order instead of adding the payment to the existing order. This creates huge chaos and angry customers (subscription stays unpaid).

The plugin used to slow down the website, the issue has been addressed in 4.14.0

Unfortunately in our case the version 4.13.0 massively slowed down our website, not only making the checkout confirmation 3x longer but also the loading speed of all the other product and category pages.Like this it cannot be used and we had to opt for other checkout plugins that accept credit card payments.We hope that the plugin will be made better in the future considering its purpose.UPDATE:The new version 4.14.0 addresses and solves the issue.

Not Working Not Approved by Woo

The support team and Merchan team said that Revolut’s gateway is not approved by Woo yet. So WooCommerce blocks the Add-on and isn’t showing in the checkout.

Slows down website

Plugin works, but slows down all pages of website. It should load javascripts only on payment page, not on every page.
