The WooCommerce CSV importer plugin takes a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file as input. You must create a CSV (UTF-8 Encoded) file and enter the product details in a structured format.

This is to match each field of a CSV file to the field of a particular product, which otherwise the Admin needs to input manually. For example, the post_title field gets mapped to the product name, and the regular_price field gets mapped to the regular price of the product.

You can create the CSV from scratch or export products to get the format of the CSV. You can use a spreadsheet program, such as LibreOffice, Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice, or Google Sheets, to create and modify the CSV file. Save this file with the extension “.CSV.”

A plugin that just worked perfectly from start to finish. You have to pay attention to a few settings, as you are mass updating potentially many products, but it works so well. Some people have given this 1 star because the free version doesn’t support variable products. The developers are VERY clear about this, both here on www.remarpro.com and also once you install the plugin.

You of course have every right to charge for your plugin how you see fit, but designing a plugin that can’t export ANY variable products in the free version, and by nowhere actually stating this in your documentation is just deliberately wasting people’s time. Is there a woocommerce site anywhere on earth that doesn’t have variable products? So even if I wanted a paid plugin, I would not be buying this one because the creators engage in unethical business practices and have wasted half an hour of my unpaid time now for no reason.

I was almost fired because of using free version of this plugin which doesn’t exported half of the products while I indicated that each product type was set to be exported. Install other product export plugins – it’s a money grab.
