3. Activate the plugin from your Plugins page.

Our very simple and easy registration lets you register with miniOrange. Our LDAP Active Directory Integration plugin for Cloud and Shared Hosting Platforms works if you are connected to miniOrange. Once you have registered with a valid email address and phone number, you will be able to add your Active Directory / LDAP directory configuration.

I am not able to get the configuration right.

I am locked out of my account and can’t log in with either my WordPress credentials or LDAP credentials. What should I do?

Firstly, please check if the user you are trying to login with exists in your WordPress. To unlock yourself, rename miniorange-wp-ldap-login plugin name. You will be able to login with your WordPress credentials. After logging in, rename the plugin back to miniorange-wp-ldap-login. If the problem persists, activate, deactivate and again activate the plugin.

LDAP / Active Directory configurations are correct and test authentication is also working but the active directory login is not working on the website.

Please make sure that the active directory login is enabled. You can check this by going to the “Sign-In Settings” Tab. The “Enable LDAP login” checkbox should be checked. This will enable users to use Active Directory login / LDAP Login on the WordPress website.

I am not able to connect my AD / LDAP Server over LDAPS connection.

Follow our step by step guide to enable LDAPS on your Active Directory and download the LDAPS certificate of your AD. Once you download your certificate, you need to get it uploaded on our miniOrange Cloud IDP Servers.

I had some issues but Avi reached out almost immediately and took care of the issue! We are really happy with the solution at this point. We are back to two stars despite a bunch of effort and movement forward. The team is punitive towards customers who don’t agree with them and terminate demos in the middle of testing phases. Our license should be active for at least another week but was terminated when I indicated I was considering using an alternative approach. It really seems like the reviews are what matter to them most. As soon as I left a bad review they did whatever it took to get it flipped over to 5 stars. I am not sure that I want to do business with companies that are punitive towards customers, it speaks really badly of the company.

For the plugin : 5 starsWe use this plugin with a Windows 2019 AD : once correctly configured, it works perfectly, unlike other plugins I’ve tried.The plugin has a lot of options, which meets all my needs. For the support : 6 starsI had a problem for activating the license : the support (thanks Vikas) takes time to resolve the issue, within 1 day (and we had a jet lag beetween France and the support).
