MakeCommerce is a payment service provider for e-commerce businesses in the Baltics and Finland.
It is the international brand of Maksekeskus AS.

The MakeCommerce plugin enables Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Finnish bank payments, credit card payments, Revolut and N26 payments, and buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) payment options.
In addition, it can be used to register parcel machine deliveries with Omniva, DPD, Itella SmartPost and LP Express.

In order to use the services please sign up at https://makecommerce.net/ and then configure the module by entering API credentials given to your shop after sign-up.
(You can also test out the module without signup, using test-shop credentials).

No multiple bank contracts needed, all you need is one bank account.

Installing the plugin is free of charge.
A transaction fee is charged by MakeCommerce separately.

Installation

Install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
Configure MakeCommerce API settings (Woocommerce->Settings->Advanced->MakeCommerce API access)
Fine-tune and activate your payment settings (Woocommerce->Settings->Payments->MakeCommerce)

Do not recommend at all. Problems with bank link functionality: time to time some links are not working. Usually they blame banks not their plugin. Do not use credit cards: client can always claim for no reason and dispute fees are 500 EURO.

Not working well with multilingual site. Return addresses are not properly set with pll. It would be good use proper url set-up with languages, like “/en/pagenr” as web standards demand.

Does not work with Polylang or WPML. With Polylang the payment methods doesn’t appear and with WPML it sends out email in the wrong language/redirects back to wrong language page.
