Installation

Installation is simple and very much like other WordPress plugins:

1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/plugin-name directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
3. Use the Woocommerce->LoyaltyDog->Settings screen to configure the plugin. You must have an active LoyaltyDog account and have proper API credentials provided by LoyaltyDog.

FAQ

Do I need to have a LoyaltyDog account?

Yes. This plugin is an interface between an active LoyaltyDog account and a functioning WordPress site with a supported ecommerce plugin. Currently this plugin supports Woocommerce. You can combine it with other supported point-of-sale systems (e.g. EPOSNow, Clover, etc.)

Flexible Loyalty Program

Works well with our business site. As far as I know, it’s the only Woocommerce based loyalty program that leverages passes in the Wallet (push notifications, geolocation, etc) – great system.

I don’t think this works anymore

Their website is full of errors when you try subscribing to a program. After making it, a “you have no subscriptions” message is displayed, then the plugin fails as I can’t provide it with an API… I don’t think this plugin is working anymore, if it ever was.

Great loyalty program

We’ve been using LoyaltyDog in one of our client’s pubs and they also sell online via Woocommerce. Now their customers can earn points online as well as in the pub. Works flawlessly. Important note – make sure you add a currency value to the rewards as instructed. It wasn’t obvious at first.
