We’ve tried 3 or 4 different plugins to hide menus in custom post and none worked except this one. So actually this plugin solves the requirement for us!
There is a backside link on every post inside their hide menu block in administration area. Don’t think this is a nice way to remind site admins about feature vendor.
Indeed the feature requires 2 plugins to be installed, more over each time when we activate the new 3rd party plugin, the plugins list page shows two messages that actually not exactly right. Here are they:
– Plugins loading order has updated: Plugin WP Autoloader is the first plugin now!
– Plugin Hide Singular Title is not hooked! WordPress Autoloader plugin is required to use Hide Singular Title plugin. Please install and activate WordPress Autoloader plugin first.

This plugin requires you to install an additional plugin which is expressly designed to automatically have full access to change any of the PHP code on your back end admin page and that’s never a good idea. Talk about opening the doors to the world!
Shouldn’t be required to install such an awful plugin just for the simple original plugin to work.

I’ve tried several other page title removal plugins just today and all of them left “Untitled” in place of the previous title (a much worse outcome!). No luck with css overrides either due to the fact that I barely know anything about css. Happily this plugin worked for me.

I read all the reviews, the 1 stars & the 5 stars. Initially I thought, ‘I don’t want to have to download 2 plugins just for one simple task of making a page invisible’.
Then I read the 5 star reviews & thought, ‘OK, if I have to get 2 plugins, but it works well, so be it’.
With both plugins downloaded, activated & ready to go, the ‘Show or Hide title’ box appears on the page I wanted to hide.
IT STILL DOESN’T WORK! The page is still visible & the title is STILL listed on the menu of the site. Rubbish.

I’m sure there’s a need that the autoloader plugin (which this plugin requires) serves, but the function that this plugin should serve is incredibly simple. I could have written a plugin to do this in the time I’ve wasted discovering that this plugin was far too bloated to use for this purpose.

I’ve tried another Hide Title plugin that worked on most but not pages.
Hide Singular worked on every page I asked it to. It just works!
Many Thanks Man!
