Installation

This section describes how to install the HashBar – WordPress Notification Bar plugin and get it working.

1) Install

Modern Way:

1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard “Add New Plugin” section.
2. Search For “HashBar”.
3. Install, then Activate it.

Old Way:

1. Unzip (if it is zipped) and Upload hashbar-wp-notification-bar folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

2) Configure

1. After install and activate the plugin you will get a notice to install CMB2 Plugin, please install it to get this plugin’s full functionality
2. To install the plugin click on the “install” link from the notification
3. ‘HashBars’ Menu will be appear in Backend
4. Create new HashBar and relax!

CSS doesn’t work at all

I tested the extension, and I correctly set the CSS color codes with the latest version of WordPress 6.4.3The text is displayed well with the color of the text that I indicated. On the other hand, the background color does not work at all. I don’t recommend it at all.
