Installation

1. Install from WordPress admin dashboard or extract and upload the contents of ‘google-adsense-for-responsive-design-gard.zip’ to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Place the shortcode [GARD] inside any posts and/or pages where you want your responsive AdSense ads to show
4. Profit??? (Literally, it’s AdSense, so…. Profit!)

FAQ

Do I need my own AdSense account to make this work?

Yes.

Will this work on my Multi User (MU) installation?

This has not been tested in a MU environment. We have reports of it crashing MU websites, so I would only test on a non live website.

Can I make my ads align left or right?

Yes. If you would like your ads to align left, use the shortcode [GARD align=”left”]. The same is true for center and right.
Samples:
[GARD] will not center or wrap text.
[GARD align=”left”] will make your ad align left and text wrap around it.
[GARD align=”center”] will make your ad centered and text wrap NOT around it.
[GARD align=”right”] will make your ad align right and text wrap around it.

Do I have to create ads for every size?

No. You will only need to create an ad for each size that you want displayed. Feel free to leave the field(s) blank to skip that size.

How do you prevent GARD from displaying more than 3 ads on one page?

We check for three types of ads; link units, ad units, and the 300×600 ad size. If either the link units, or ad units already have 3 per page, we don’t output ads. Same goes for the 300×600, if there is already one on the page, we don’t output a 2nd.

What are the different versions of the plugin?

NO SUPPORT – DON’T USE.

Update: Still nothing from this developer and now his actual site is down. I have sent him messages on multiple platforms and received nothing back. DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THIS PLUGIN. DOESN’T WORK, NO SUPPORT, NO FULFILLMENT OF THERE GUARANTESS. —————————— While this plugin seems to work for the most part, don’t expect to get any support. I installed this version and then bought two licenses for the pro version. The ads are not showing in my custom posts automatically and I have to do it manually. I will end up with thousands of posts so manually doing it isn’t an option. I submitted a request to the “thepluginfactory” and have gotten nothing back. It has been weeks and weeks now. I also emailed them and got crickets. I wouldn’t recommend any use this plugin until the developer awakens. I have no idea what the issue is, but this is crazy. The lead developer is on linkedin, but again I have gotten cricket. I am not trying to be difficult. However, having paid for the pro version twice now and expected more.
