Usage Examples

Installation
USING THE WORDPRESS DASHBOARD
- Navigate to “Add New” in the plugins dashboard
- Search for “Five-Star Ratings Shortcode”
- Click “Install Now”
- Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard
- The plugin has no settings.
UPLOADING IN WORDPRESS DASHBOARD
- Click the download button on this and save “five-star-ratings-plugin.zip” to your computer
- Navigate to “Add New” in the plugins dashboard
- Navigate to the “Upload” area
- Select “five-star-ratings-plugin.zip” from your computer
- Click “Install Now”
- Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
- The plugin has no settings.
USING FTP
- Download the Five-Star Ratings Shortcode ZIP file
- Extract the Five-Star Ratings Shortcode ZIP file to your computer
- Upload the “five-star-ratings-plugin” directory to the
/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
- The plugin has no settings.
UPGRADING TO FIVE-STAR RATINGS SHORTCODE PRO
- Go to Settings -> Five-Star Ratings Shortcode -> Upgrade
- Fill out the payment form and submit
- Your license key will automatically be entered

This plugin is pretty basic in its free version, but is perfect if you just want to display a star rating somewhere on your WP site. And if you have some CSS knowledge, customization (colors, size, etc.) is really easy. Thanks.
The free version has absolutely zero configurable settings. You can’t change the star color (it’s black and white), you can’t remove the text shown after the stars, nothing at all. This is just a waste of a plugin installation.
This plugin does just what I wanted: a simple star rating with a clean look. Surprised there are very few of these out there – but this one works nicely. Simple to use too.
It’s a good plugin to use the shortcode manually.
