Extensive WordPress Addons Plugin For WPBakery Page Builder

Extensive VC is a powerful WordPress tool which allows you to add unique, flexible and fully responsive shortcode elements on your site. It is an addons for premium plugin WPBakery Page Builder, so first you need to install/activate this required plugin to be able to use Extensive VC plugin. Plugin contains four packs of shortcode elements (classic, interactive, infographic and typography). All of these shortcode packs you can find in our website in Elements section inside header menu.

Installation

From your WordPress dashboard

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New
2. Search for Extensive VC
3. Activate Extensive VC from your Plugins page. (You’ll be greeted with a Welcome page.)
4. Go to your pages and create some elements with WPBakery page builder and inside page builder add element you will see Extensive VC tab with our shortcodes
5. Visit your site and enjoy ??

1. Download Extensive VC.
2. Upload the extensive-vc directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, scp, etc…)
3. Activate Extensive VC from your Plugins page. (You’ll be greeted with a Welcome page.)
4. Go to your pages and create some elements with WPBakery page builder and inside page builder add element you will see Extensive VC tab with our shortcodes
5. Visit your site and enjoy ??

FAQ

I activated the Extensive VC Plugin but I cannot see It In the dashboard panel?

My plugin it is extension for WPBakery page builder so you must first install/activate WPBakery page builder plugin. After you activate the required plugin, the elements should be available for use in WPBakery page builder shortcode section.

The Author is – quoting from his website – “committed to share knowledge and help people solve their problems”. I believe he’s done more than that… he’s succeeding where WPBakery fails! Let’s face it, WpB is expensive, overrated, incredibly buggy and limited (they even make you pay for a preview extension of their shortcodes, unbelievable, whereas this guy gives you screenshots and tutorials for every single element). But sometimes you are stuck with WpB because it’s hardcoded in your theme, and if you really want to make something good out of it you gotta use EVC. Inspired by the design of EVC’s elements, my mind is opening to give my site a new feel, something that I wasn’t able to do with WpB alone (and I even have the Ultimate add-on installed, enough said). I just can’t believe there are so many people using EVC and the last review is over a year old…. they are not paying the Author back with his own coin!

Flawed, But Earnest Effort

This did not work on my installation. It froze on the semitransparent white screen while loading WPBakery’s page builder (while their logo was on and it was loading). I reckon it must be a conflict with another plugin. What’s more, this plugin has excessive menu elements/tabs added to the dashboard (clients, etc.), at least 3 of them (Extensive VC Settings, etc.), polluting the dashboard menu when it could organize it easily with a submenu under one menu item or even under Settings tab. I personally really hate plugins that pollute the dashboard unnecessarily. Normally just one of those would warrant a 1-star. In this case there are two. However, I will still give this 4 stars because of the earnest effort. These seem like good featuers. And for providing what seem like great features to users for free. So please do address the issues above, and another time I’ll check if it will finally be compatible with my install without conflicts.
