Fantastic egift card system, havent’ seen anything like it. It works as advertised, business couldn’t be better! thanks for providing a good plugin.

This software while it works pretty good lacks some functionality. 1. The ability to discount the gift card to the purchaser for example lets say you want to offer a %50.00 gift card and the purchaser can purchase it for $40.00. I even wrote the company they replied with we are not doing any additional work or customization on this product. They did respond quickly. No work around nothing after we already spend over $200.00!!

Purchased Gift Certificate, then Gift Card bundle packs based on good experience with the free version (eGiftCard Lite). Ultimately, the plug-in functions as described, works great with the PayPal gateway, and support through email was timely and responsive (impressive with a big holiday week). Download and installation were smooth both times. This is a great solution for scenarios where the business wants to offer gift certs/cards to be redeemed at their place of business. There are many plug-ins out there which generate gift cards to be used on online purchases, but this is a different animal. Would love to see a better explanation of the different functionalities on their website. There is the Gift Certificate functionality, which is a bare-bones looking certificate. An upgraded customer experience comes with the Gift Card functionality, which has a prettier presentation. The demo version combines elements of both, and I wish there was a bit more explicit breakdown of that fact – I think we would have just purchased the Gift Card bundle to begin with. There are other add-on modules, such as adding a personal message field, collecting physical address, etc. I think the prices are fair, and let you hit the ground running in gift card sales with a small amount of time invested. Some of the language, such as default language for emails to be sent to customers IS a bit awkward, but that gets edited anyway. Support and video tutorials on the site were perfectly native English (just addressing the other comment I see here). I’d love to see more backend control of the front look/language without digging through files. All in all our client is very happy with the results, thanks!

I spent a lot of time setting up a card and it simply doesn’t work. The owner is not a native English speaker so a lot of the instructions are confusing, the messages your customer sees are in bad English, and he doesn’t respond to support requests properly. Don’t waste your time….
