Installation

1. Login to your website and go to the Plugins section of your admin panel.
2. Click the Add New button.
3. Under Install Plugins, click the Upload link.
4. Select the plugin zip file (custom-codes.zip) from your computer then click the Install Now button.
5. You should see a message stating that the plugin was installed successfully.
6. Click the Activate Plugin link.

FAQ

Can I change the language of the editor while I am writing codes in another language?

Yes, you can change the language of the editor. Previous editor contents will be stored to be able to switch back.

How can I see the output of my codes?

You can use the Output function. The Output button is at the bottom-right side of the IDE.

How do I get more information about the shortcuts?

Simply hover over the “?” icon while adding/editing your code blocks.

Will my custom codes be deleted after uninstalling the plugin?

No, it will not unless you uncheck the “Store custom CSS/JS after uninstall” option on settings.

A red cross appears when I try to save. What is the problem?

Just mouseover the cross sign and see the error message.

I’m unable to access to the site because of a PHP custom code error. How can I fix it?

CodeKit has a “Safe Mode” feature which you can enter the site without CodeKit customizations. You can simply add “codes_safemode” query string to any URL to disable them temporarily. So, you can fix the error online.

very good plugin, working as expected. but some points: 1. If we add "fancyBox v3.5.7" js in javascript, editor not loading completely & removed all appearance of plugin. you can try cdn copy. 2. Custom HTML/PHP displaying Permalink, not good i think. 3. Permalink should be understandable, right now it’s generating unique identifier, good, but it’s confusing when we need to debug things. i think some part should be there of title or extra field for permalink. same issue like others plugin has. Anyways good luck, awesome plugin with great interface. thanks.

This plugin is a must have, it is the best code editor, lets you manage CSS SCSS, JS, PHP…, and presets tabs to manage you responsive code. (with correct sizes, and customisable sizes too) Time saving, clean editor, looks like simple text inside your WP admin. Perfect to me. Simple and Yet most advanced plugin, indeed !
