In reply to: [Post Author] Can't change the authorHave you looked in the screen options, at the very very top, if the AUTHOR is checked so that it displays properly somewhere down in the page?
I’ve had no other similar complaint…

In reply to: [Post Author] Post author image won't display on postHi there,
I believe there is nothing image-related in my plugin, except if you’re talking about the Gravatar, which is pulled straight from the Gravatar service – and therefore is not really in my hands…
Maybe clarify and see if I can help.

In reply to: [Post Author] Woocommerce Product DescriptionTrue, we don’t offer support yet for specific post types other than Page and Post, but it is under development.
We plan on releasing an improved version in the next couple of months… If you can hold on until then.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Post Author] Can't change the authorHey,
there must have been a duplicate of the author box in the page edition area… I have just released a minor 1.1.1 update for that (bug fix explained on the page).
Can you try and upgrade the plugin and let me know?
Best,

In reply to: [Post Author] Post Author is displaying on Portfolio PagesHi,
If I’m not wrong, I believe that Portfolio is a custom post type made by this theme.
I’ll look into that case and get back to you with clear answer or solution.
But it’s true, for now, we handle displaying on PAGES / or POSTS – regardless of whether they are default posts or custom posts…

In reply to: [Post Author] Change location of author postHey there,
priority for these plugins (including Post Author) is handled within the code of each plugin, so you’ll have to get your hands a little dirty, using the plugin editor in the backend of WP.
Here is your help for that: https://jetpack.me/2013/06/01/hook-plugin-sharing-buttons/
Since I cannot forsee all scenarios, I made Post Author a priority of 20 both for content and excerpts.
When you know what the priority for your other plugins are, you can either higher them (so they go past 20) or you can lower mine. In the latter case, you can edit our post_author.php file, the very two last lines in the code, look for ’20’.
Good luck!

In reply to: [Post Author] Avatar- Where does it pull fromIt should be from Gravatar.
I don’t recall there is an avatar option within WP’s user settings (not default on the blogs I manage anyway). Feel free to correct me.

In reply to: [Post Author] Multiple Author Names To A PostHi,
in order to handle that, since this is not built-in WP, you can tell us what plugin or code you’re using to manage multiple authors on one single post.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Post Author] Author edit box does not appear in post edit pageThis box you are referring to is not controlled by our plugin. It is built-in WordPress.
Have you checked that in the display options of the post-edit, you have the author box check?
It’s at the very top of the page, under “screen options”.

In reply to: [Post Author] Post Author: Remove hyperlinkHi,
CSS is to be written in your existing theme CSS files. It is easier to maintain this way, than having you manage yet another CSS file.
Just add the instructions – you have to be familiar with webdesign and CSS to do so – or have someone help you with your design and theme.
