I added new titles in SmartCrawl and Google is still showing my old titles and descriptions. What gives!?

If you’ve recently updated your titles and description, Google probably hasn’t indexed them just yet. It can take up to a week for Google to index changes you’ve made.

Use the “New Crawl” button in the sitemap tab to notify Google of any changes to your site. The Google cache will update when your site has be recrawled. Be patient, it can take some time for the new information to show.

Does SmartCrawl work with Custom Post Types?

Yes, it does! SmartCrawl SEO has full support for custom post types, both in overall management tools (Settings > Title&Meta), as well as in the editor. Plus it works out of the box with both built-in and custom taxonomies.

Does SmartCrawl work with content in page builders like Visual Composer or Beaver Builder?

SmartCrawl works with any normal WP content and page builders shouldn’t be an exception. As long as your theme uses posts, pages and custom post types, SmartCrawl will work.

SEO plugin deletes keywords

Sorry ! This is the third time that updating your plugin has deleted keywords from my product pages, descriptions and titles. Fortunately I have less than 30 products, otherwise it’s a disaster. For several years my WP site has been running with the Spa & Salon theme. I deactivate and switch to another plugin.

As the name suggests, Smartcrawl does its job. After I activated the plugin ,my website was able to rank more than a plugin I had used. Smartcrawl doesn’t slow a website, instead, it makes it more performance.

Seems very good, after several months no problems as such with it as far as I can tell. I often find with plugins from this developer that some of the useful features are a bit limited (for example in the image optimization plug-in, charging you extra for premium to create WebP images on your own VPS server). There is a useful option for this plug-in to add redirects without having to jump into CPanel or Cloudflare, but there is no way to re-order them once you have added them (which I have suggested). You can only delete them and start again to get them in the correct order necessary for them to work. The redirect regexp in the advanced section I couldn’t get working, despite a correctly working expression tested on the regex 101 website.
