Consider setting up a test site just to play with the new version. To test WordPress 4.6, try the <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/wordpress-beta-tester\/\">WordPress Beta Tester<\/a> plugin (you\u2019ll want \u201cbleeding edge nightlies\u201d). Some of the fixes in Beta 3 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Revisions:<\/strong>\u00a0Autosaves can now be restored when revisions are disabled (<a href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/ticket\/36262\">#36262<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>An improved\u00a0<strong>handling of PHP&#8217;s\u00a0memory limit<\/strong> which doesn&#8217;t lower the limit anymore (<a href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/ticket\/32075\">#<\/a><a class=\"closed ticket\" title=\"defect (bug): Only set WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT by default when its greater than memory_limit (closed: fixed)\" href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/ticket\/32075\">32075<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>TinyMCE<\/strong> has been\u00a0updated to 4.4.0\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/ticket\/32075\">#<\/a><a class=\"closed ticket\" title=\"defect (bug): TinyMCE 4.4.0 (closed: fixed)\" href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/ticket\/37327\">37327<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>HTTP API:<\/strong> Proxy settings weren&#8217;t\u00a0honored\u00a0by the new HTTP library. This has been fixed (<a href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/ticket\/37107\">#37107<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>Improved handling of <strong>UTF-8 address headers for emails\u00a0<\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/ticket\/21659\">#21659<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Various bug fixes<\/strong>. We\u2019ve made <a href=\"https:\/\/core.trac.wordpress.org\/log\/trunk\/src?action=stop_on_copy&amp;mode=stop_on_copy&amp;rev=38059&amp;stop_rev=37992&amp;limit=200&amp;verbose=on\">more than 65 changes<\/a>\u00a0during the last week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Do you speak a language other than English? <a href=\"https:\/\/translate.wordpress.org\/projects\/wp\/dev\">Help us translate WordPress into more than 100 languages!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you think you\u2019ve found a bug, you can post to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/forum\/alphabeta\">Alpha\/Beta area<\/a>\u00a0in the support forums.
