This section will offer step-by-step instructions for organizations on how they can create and manage their Five for the Future profiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting up an Organization Five for the Future profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before creating a contribution team, you need to register your Organization to Five for the Future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Register your organization using the Submission Pledge form<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Look out for an automated email from WordPress – Five for the Future where you\u2019re asked to confirm your email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Open the public page of your Five for the Future organization, scroll to the bottom, and click on the Edit Pledge button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. A popup shows up, add your administrator\u2019s email address and click the Submit button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Manage Pledge Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Manage Pledge page is only accessible if you have created a pledge using your email id, or else, it will not be accessible.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    In the Manage Pledge<\/a> page (accessible from the top menu), you can update: Organization Name, Logo, Website Address, Organization Blurb, Administrator Email Address, add and remove Contributors (Employees), and resend them the Confirmation Email to join your organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How to add contributors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To add team members (contributors): <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Enter your Manage Pledge<\/a> page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Scroll until the Contributors section \u2192<\/span> Contributor Usernames.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Type the contributors\u2019 usernames, separating them with a comma.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Click the Add New Contributor button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Your contributors will receive an invitation to join your organization to the email associated with their WordPress.org account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Once they confirm your invitation, you\u2019ll see them under the Contributors \u2192<\/span> Confirmed table. If they don\u2019t join your organization, they will appear as Unconfirmed and not officially taken into consideration in the Five for the Future company pledge<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Note: Administrators cannot update Contribution Hours and Contribution Teams on the Edit Pledge page<\/strong>. Your employees will have to indicate this information in the Contribution section<\/a> of their WordPress.org profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How to resend the confirmation email to a contributor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      If after adding a contributor to your team, you need to resend them the invitation email, you can do it from your organization\u2019s Manage Pledge page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Enter your Manage Pledge page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Scroll until the Contributors section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click the Resend Confirmation button near the contributor you want to remove.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. A popup will show up confirming you that the email has been sent.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        How to remove contributors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        To remove team members (contributors): <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2. Scroll until the Contributors section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Click the Remove button near the contributor you want to remove.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. A popup shows up asking to confirm or cancel, click the OK button to remove the contributor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          The contributor will receive an email informing them that they have been removed from your organization\u2019s pledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          How contributors join the organization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Join the organization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Every time that you add a contributor to your organization pledge, they will receive an invitation to join your organization to the email associated with their WordPress.org account. They can do it from the My Pledges<\/a> page, after logging into WordPress.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Update contribution hours and contribution teams.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          In the edit pledge page, it is not possible to update<\/strong> Contribution Hours and Contribution Teams. Employees will indicate this information in the Contribution section<\/a> of their WordPress.org profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          How contributors can leave the organization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Your contributors can decide, at any time, to leave your organization. They can do it from the My Pledges<\/a> page, after logging into WordPress.org. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. They open the My Pledges page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Click the Leave Organization button near the organization they want to leave.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. A confirmation message will inform them that they have successfully left the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Important: If a contributor leaves your organizations, you won\u2019t receive any notifications via email. You can always monitor your confirmed and unconfirmed contributors from your Manage Pledge page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
