When enabled, any open sidebars are closed and toolbars fade away, leaving your content to take center stage. You can toggle this mode on\/off as you write and as you\u2019d like. This mode doesn\u2019t work in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/documentation\/article\/site-editor\/\">Site Editor<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Distraction Free mode works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Distraction free mode works by adjusting the following interfaces and simplifying the writing experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Removing the Top toolbar, making it only appear when you hover your cursor over it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removes many Top toolbar buttons.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatically closes any open sidebars.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hides various + options for adding new blocks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hides the block toolbar.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to use Distraction Free mode<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to find Distraction Free mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To find Distraction Free mode, use the three-dot menu on the top right and check the Distraction free mode. From there, you can select the three-dot menu on the top right and un-check the Distraction free mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also use the keyboard shortcut \u21e7 \u2318 \\ on Mac and Ctrl+Shift+\\ for Windows.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to show the top toolbar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To see the top toolbar in this view, move your cursor to the top of the editor. As you do so, the top toolbar will come back into view and will fade if you move your cursor away again.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to add blocks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Because this mode is built for writing, you can create new paragraphs by hitting enter.
