Inquiry regarding user documentation: It would be fine if the article would explain WHY general template parts may not be available for insertion in certain block themes. Explain what the criteria are that they can be inserted. The article did not state the reason. I accepted this for now.
Critique on the Gutenberg team and/or the TT3-theme team (in this case possible the same people): I asked myself why you offer a function such as a “general” template part which is then NOT use-able in general for all themes or at least within TT3, which by itself would also be bad, as it is sort of the reference block theme, and as such should offer the maximums feature support. Having a function which eventually does nothing, feels like a function stub, as if it has been added to the release candidate prematurely.
